We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the welfare of cats in Hudson County. Through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), we humanely manage cat populations and prevent unnecessary suffering. We also rescue, rehabilitate, and find loving homes for cats in need.
Our Mission
Hope for Nine Lives is dedicated to rescuing, protecting, and improving the lives of cats in need. Through rescue, medical care, food, shelter, Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs, and adoption, we give abandoned, injured, sick, and homeless cats a second chance at a safe and loving life.
We proudly serve Hudson County and surrounding communities, working to reduce homeless cat populations while supporting local families and fellow rescuers.

Prince
Prince was abandoned and left to fend for himself until he was rescued by Hope for Nine Lives Rescue. Despite everything he's been through, he remains gentle, loving, and enjoys quiet places, affection, and treats.

Shadow's Second Chance
Shadow came into our care with a severe mouth injury that left him in pain and struggling to eat. After a veterinary evaluation, it was determined that he needed extensive dental surgery, including multiple tooth extractions, to save his quality of life and prevent further complications.
Thanks to the support of compassionate donors, Shadow was able to receive the treatment he desperately needed. His surgery and medical care totaled approximately $2,000.
Today, Shadow is recovering well and can finally eat comfortably without the constant pain he once endured. His story is a reminder that every donation makes a real difference in the lives of animals who have nowhere else to turn.

Meet Aldi and Tony
Aldi and Tony were both rescued in urgent need of medical care.
Aldi is only 2 months old and has a severely damaged and infected eye that cannot be saved. He needs surgery to remove the eye, relieve his pain, and prevent further complications.
Tony was bitten by a wild animal and suffered a serious injury near his tail. The damaged portion of his tail must be surgically removed to prevent infection and allow him to heal safely.
Despite everything they have endured, both cats remain sweet, loving, and full of life. Your donation will help cover their surgeries, medications, follow-up appointments, and recovery care.
